According to the President, the late Oseni was known for standing firmly by his convictions and speaking the truth without fear or favour.

Tinubu noted that Oseni’s steadfast commitment to truth, fairness and justice earned him the admiration and respect of everyone who knew him.
Recalling his final encounter with the deceased, Hamzat described Oseni as a generous and compassionate man whose sincerity and courage positively impacted many lives.
Governor Sanwo-Olu joined other dignitaries at the event to honour the late elder statesman, whose contributions to business, community development and religious service were celebrated.

In her tribute, the widow of the deceased, Mrs. Karling Oseni, described her husband as a visionary leader, accomplished community organiser and devoted family man who upheld discipline, accountability and excellence.
“He inspired his children and everyone around him to pursue their dreams with courage and commitment,” she said.
