Female traditional rulers in Nigeria are gradually emerging from different parts of the world, especially in Nigeria.
The way a female traditional rulers dresses is exactly the same with their male counterparts, because traditions demands it.
Below are the lists of top female traditional rulers in Nigeria.
1. Moyinloluwa Olubunmi Falowo
She is a king at Ibule in Ifedore local government area of Ondo State
She is a graduate of Ondo State University Of Science and Technology where she studied microbiology.
Falowo became a king in April 2019 after the demise of her father.
She is currently to be a king until the kingmakers pick another king to rule over the affairs of the community.
2. Taiwo Oyebola Agbona
She was crowned as king in 2017 to temporarily take over the throne of her ancestors until the new king is chosen by the kingmakers.
We learnt that Taiwo Oyebola Agbona was chosen because she is the first girl child of her family.
She was crowned to take over the throne after the Alaye of Aaye shortly after the sudden death of Oba Agbona Orimori on May 4, 2017.
Taiwo Oyebola Agbona is a graduate of Achievers University in Owo where she studied medical laboratory science.
3. Tinuade Babalola Adejuiyegbe
She became a king on February 23, 2013, after her father, Oba Emmanuel Ayowole Adejuyigbe died.
Tinuade Bbalola Adejuiyegbe is the oluboropa of Iboropa in Akoko, Ondo State.
She was an undergraduate studying Public Administration at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko and still very young when she became a king.
She managed to graduate in 2018 and even went for the 1 – year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2019 as the first young female king to do in the state.
4. Elizabeth O.T Orogun
She is the king of Akunu Akoko in Ondo State.

5. Adekemi Omorinbola
She is a traditional ruler and the Asin of Iwara-Oka, Akoko, Ondo State.
She became a king when she was still a secondary school student.
She ascended the throne of her father on January 9, 2010.
Adekemi Omorinbola proceeded to a higher institution to study Psychology at the Ekiti State University despite being a king.
Even though Omorinbola is the last born of the family of six daughters, she was still chosen by the Oracle to rule the community after her father’s death.
6. Princess Damilola Falegan
She became the Irese, Onirese of Irese kingdom in Ifedore local government area of Ondo State.
On November 11, 2020, Falegan celebrated her birthday as she clocked 25.
7. Tejumade Falade Adeboye
She is the Odopetu of Akure Kingdom despite being a fashion designer.
Falade ascended the throne after becoming a married woman.
Her first wedding anniversary was celebrated on November 9.
