Real Sociedad also advanced with a comfortable 2-0 win over 10-man Osasuna, joining Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the final four.
Torres, who once played for Valencia, was the standout performer, scoring three goals within the first 30 minutes. His first came in the third minute, finishing off a brilliant Alejandro Balde through ball. Just 14 minutes later, Torres netted again after Yamal’s shot rebounded off the post and into his path. His hat-trick was completed just after the half-hour mark with a precise finish after Raphinha’s assist.
Lopez had put Barcelona 3-0 up with a composed finish after being found by Pedri, and the match was effectively decided before halftime.

Torres’ stellar performance raised questions about Barcelona’s attacking depth, with the team scoring five goals in each of the last four matches without Robert Lewandowski in the starting lineup.
Frustrated Valencia fans were seen leaving the Mestalla early, a reflection of the growing discontent with club owner Peter Lim, as this loss followed a heavy 7-1 defeat to Barcelona in La Liga.
