- Tracy feels her quiet nature cost her time on the show
- Says she wished she had been more dramatic, confrontational
- Believes authenticity didn’t play well in reality TV
Evicted BBNaija10 housemate Tracy says she regrets being true to herself on the show.
According to Eko Hot Blog, in her post-eviction interview, Tracy said her calm and authentic personality likely contributed to her early exit, suggesting that adopting more dynamic traits could have helped her stay longer.

She explained that while she chose to be genuine, she now thinks that playing up conflict or being more outspoken might have made her more memorable: “If I could take back anything I did in the house, it’ll be being myself, because right now I wish I got into unnecessary fights or shouting or being dramatic. I feel like that would have made me stay longer because according to people, I was quiet and boring.”
Tracy also said she misjudged how performative the show could be, realizing afterward that many contestants play parts of themselves rather than their full personality, to capture audience attention.

She noted that being quiet and authentic meant she didn’t generate strong storylines or reactions, which matters on a show like BBNaija where visibility often depends as much on emotion and drama as on reality.
Some fans reacted to her confession with sympathy, saying staying true is a virtue, even if it comes with risk in such a competitive environment. Others suggested that she could’ve balanced authenticity with a little showmanship.
TV analysts observe that reality shows often reward performers who provoke discussion or stir conflict; contestants who remain calm can sometimes be overlooked despite being genuine.
Tracy’s admission highlights the emotional trade-offs of staying themselves in an environment built on spectacle.
For Tracy, the takeaway seems to be about learning where to draw lines between authenticity and strategy. She appears to regret not pushing herself into moments that might have boosted her profile, even if they felt out of comfort.
