The gunmen invaded the Ikare-Akoko area in Akoko North-East Local Government.
According to reports, the attackers invaded a NASFAT school and a market in the community. Two security guards were killed during the attack, and parts of their bodies were dismembered.
The security guards were left in their pool of blood after the attack at night.
There is, however, suspicion about the way the attackers killed the security guard in what seems like a ritual killing.
The spokesperson of the Ondo State Police Command, Funmi Odunlami, confirmed the incident.
The PPRO stated that an investigation has commenced, and the killers will be arrested.
