Doncaster Rovers have completed the signing of Scottish midfielder Scott Robertson on loan from Celtic for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old is eligible to make his debut for Rovers in Saturday’s clash with promotion rivals Lincoln City after his registration was completed ahead of Friday’s noon deadline, though his international clearance came through later.
Robertson spent the first half of this season on loan at Gillingham but was recalled by Celtic earlier this month after making 19 appearances.

Arsenal plotting Patrick van Aanholt transfer swoop
Arsenal are considering a late move for Crystal Palace defender Patrick van Aanholt.
Boss Mikel Arteta is looking to bring in a new left-back to provide cover and competition for Kieran Tierney before the transfer window closes on Monday night.
And the Dutchman has emerged as a surprise target following the emergence of Tyrick Mitchell at Selhurst Park.
Mitchell has also been linked with a move to Arsenal in the last week but Palace see him as a long-term option.
On the other hand, Van Aanholt, 30, is out of contract in the summer and Palace could be tempted to let him leave now to avoid losing him for nothing in six months’ time.

Chelsea ‘open contract talks with Thiago Silva, Jorginho’
Chelsea have reportedly opened discussions with Thiago Silva and Jorginho over new contracts.
Silva penned a one-year deal with the Blues upon his arrival last summer, but the capital giants do have the option of activating an additional 12 months on the agreement.
Jorginho, meanwhile, has a contract at Stamford Bridge until June 2023, but there was a lot of speculation surrounding the Italy international’s future in the last transfer window.
According to Sportitalia, talks have been opened with Silva over the possibility of penning a new deal until June 2023, while Jorginho is set to be offered fresh terms until 2025.
The report claims that new Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel views both players, who were in the starting XI against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night, as key to his plans moving forward.
Silva played under Tuchel at Paris Saint-Germain, while Jorginho is believed to have been tracked by the 47-year-old during his time in charge of the Ligue 1 giants.

Man Utd increasingly likely to sign Sergio Ramos with David Beckham playing transfer role
Manchester United could sign Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos at the end of the season, reports say. The Spain international’s time at the Bernabeu appears to be winding down, with the 34-year-old out of contract come the summer. And while Paris Saint-Germain have been linked, he appears to prefer a blockbuster move to the Premier League instead.
Manchester United wanted to sign Ramos in 2015 but, on that occasion, were rebuffed.
He ended up signing a new contract with the La Liga giants and, since then, has helped them win three more Champions League titles.
Ramos’ contract expires at the end of the season, however, and a move away from the Bernabeu is looking increasingly likely.
The La Liga giants, who have won five La Liga titles with the veteran in their ranks, are unwilling to meet his salary demands.
And The Mirror say Ramos is keen on a move to United, having had the club endorsed to him by David Beckham.

Real Madrid to use Vinicius Junior in Kylian Mbappe bid this summer
Real Madrid may reportedly be prepared to include Vinicius Junior in any proposal to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
The La Liga champions, who are long-term admirers of the France international, are expected to make their move this summer due to the attacker currently having less than 18 months remaining on his contract.
According to Marca, PSG are prepared to demand in excess of £135m if Mbappe expresses an unwillingness to extend his stay at Parc des Princes.
The report suggests that Los Blancos could look to offset some of that financial outlay by offering Vinicius in part-exchange.
While the Brazilian has made 23 appearances in all competitions this season, just 10 of his outings have come from the starting lineup.
PSG have previously been linked with a move for the 20-year-old, something which Real officials could look to take advantage of during any negotiations for Mbappe.
