EKO HOT BLOG reports that the French Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have reportedly resolved to let go of about eleven of their players this summer transfer window.
PSG is trying to revamp and bolster its squad ahead of the new season.
In that regard, the French club is considering offloading the likes of striker Mauro Icardi and the midfield trio of Ander Herrera, Leandro Paredes, and Idrissa Gueye, among others.
The eleven PSG players who have been placed on the transfer list also include defenders like Thilo Kehrer and Abdou Diallo, goalkeepers Sergio Rico and Marcin Bulka, and forward Arnaud Kalimuendo.
The futures of Brazilian star, Neymar and midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum are also shaky in PSG as the club is focused on a total revamp.
PSG’s new sporting director Luis Campos is reportedly interested in refreshing the squad during the ongoing transfer window after appointing Christophe Galtier as the new manager earlier this week.
This online media recalls that Galtier joined PSG as a replacement for the former manager, Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine tactician, Pochettino ended his coaching spell with PSG on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
Pochettino was appointed PSG manager in January 2021. The former player won the Ligue 1 title for PSG but failed to secure the Champions League trophy for the club despite having an all-star line-up featuring Neymar, Lionel Messi and Mbappe.
The Argentine, however, finished second in the league during his first campaign and also won the Coupe de France.

“We would like to thank Mauricio Pochettino and his staff for their work and wish them the best for the future.”
