EKO HOT BLOG reports that taking to Truth Social on Sunday, Trump urged Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to expand efforts in cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago, which he claimed harbor “millions upon millions of illegal aliens.”

He argued that these cities form the base of Democratic power and repeated disproven claims that undocumented immigrants are voting illegally.
Trump’s renewed push has seen ICE raids spark widespread protests in Los Angeles, prompting the deployment of 4,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines—despite opposition from local and state officials. California has filed a federal lawsuit, accusing the president of exceeding his authority in deploying the guardsmen.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass extended a curfew initially set to curb violence and looting during demonstrations. “People are afraid to leave their homes,” she said, describing the raids as indiscriminate and traumatic for many in the city’s Latino communities.

Trump defended the move, stating ICE officers have faced “violence and threats” from “radical Democrat politicians.” He vowed to deliver “the single largest mass deportation program in history,” instructing law enforcement agencies to “get the job done.”
The president also lashed out at Democrats over unrelated issues, including support for transgender rights and women’s sports, framing the crackdown as a broader fight to reclaim law and order in “crime-ridden inner cities.”
Former President Barack Obama criticized the approach, calling for immigration reform that respects human dignity. “Families… are being demonized and treated as enemies,” Obama said on X.
