In his keynote speech, Alausa emphasized the criticality of establishing a robust governance framework, stating, “Our mandate is clear, to build an effective governance framework that fosters efficiency, equity, and quality throughout the healthcare system.” He commended the medical directors for their unwavering dedication and invaluable contributions to providing quality healthcare services to Nigerians, despite the numerous challenges they face.

Acknowledging the persistent challenges faced by healthcare facilities, such as power outages, Alausa assured the audience that the ministry is actively exploring solutions.
