Fury, 36, made his decision after his December rematch loss to Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the WBA (Super), WBC, and WBO titles.

This marks the end of his career, though Fury had previously retired in 2022 after defeating Dillian Whyte, only to return six months later.
With a record of 34 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw, Fury has held the heavyweight championship twice. Reflecting on his journey, he said, “Hi everybody, I’m going to make this short and sweet. I’d like to announce my retirement from boxing. It has been a blast, I’ve loved every single minute of it, and I’m going to end with this; Dick Turpin wore a mask.”

Fury’s rise began in 2015 when he shocked long-time champion Wladimir Klitschko, claiming the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring heavyweight titles.
After a hiatus to address mental health issues, he returned in 2018, later becoming a two-time champion by defeating Deontay Wilder for the WBC title in 2020.
