UCL: Lewandowski Scores Brace As Barcelona Crush Young Boys
Lewandowski opened the scoring just eight minutes in, tapping in Raphinha’s cross at the far post. Barcelona quickly doubled their advantage when Raphinha slotted home a rebound from Pedri’s blocked shot.
The La Liga leaders continued to control the game, with Inigo Martinez heading in from close range following a precise Pedri free-kick just three minutes later.

Six minutes into the second half, Martinez’s header across goal set up Lewandowski for his second, putting the result beyond doubt.
Young Boys’ best chance came when Joel Monteiro’s effort struck the crossbar, but their struggles deepened in the 81st minute as Mohamed Ali Camara turned Alejandro Balde’s cross into his own net.
Monteiro thought he had a consolation goal in stoppage time, but it was ruled out for offside after a VAR check.

Lewandowski’s brace marked another milestone, making him only the second player in Champions League history, after Ronaldo, to score 50+ goals after turning 30. He now has 96 goals in the competition but was substituted before he could complete a hat-trick.
Captain Raphinha also shone, scoring, assisting, and taking six shots in a commanding performance as Barcelona bounced back from their 2-1 loss to Monaco. Young Boys, meanwhile, remain winless after their 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa in the opening match.
