Update: Umerov Now Ukraine’s Defence Minister
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Ukrainian parliament on Wednesday approved Rustem Umerov as the new defense minister.

Recall that Umerov had resigned after Ukraine President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced on Sunday, that he was sacking the former defence minister, Oleksii Reznikov for corruption charges.
The Parliament declared Umerov as the new defence minister with an approved vote of 338 in his favour.
Rustem Umerov will be replacing Oleksii Reznikov.

On the other hand, the just outgone minister appeared before the parliament on Tuesday to tender his resignation.
Reznikov said “it was an honor to serve the Ukrainian people” for the last 22 months.
