EKO HOT BLOG reports that Charles Awurum, a Nollywood actor has urged Nigerians to ensure they participate in the 2023 general election.

Next year’s election has continued to dominate discussions in several quarters as the country seeks to elect President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor.

In a video sighted on his Instagram page, the film star said Nigerians must do away with religious and tribal sentiments ahead of the much-awaited poll.

Awurum said voting in 2023 is a “must” for every eligible Nigerians, adding that “God will punish” those who fail to participate in the election.

According to him, participation in the election has become imperative for every citizen so as to elect leaders capable of addressing the challenges confronting the country.
