In a series of transformative initiatives, Hon. Wale Raji, the lawmaker representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has unveiled a comprehensive array of educational infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing learning environments across the constituency.
Eko Hot Blog reports that these developments is aimed at enhancing educational opportunities and fostering conducive learning environments, encompass the construction of new classroom buildings, upgraded facilities, and sustainable energy solutions.

Notable projects include new 12-classroom storey buildings for senior secondary schools in Temu, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA and Pobuna Secondary School in Eredo LCDA, as well as a six-classroom block at Lofi Ogunmude, also in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
The lawmaker also highlighted substantial upgrades at Epe Grammar School, which feature a Mini stadium, two 100-bed hostels for boys and girls, principal lodges for both junior and senior schools, and a Corpers’/Teachers’ Lodge.
Additional developments include the conversion of a classroom block for hostel accommodation, a modern dining hall and kitchen, reconstruction of the heritage classroom block, tarred road networks within the school compound, and an ICT Centre.
Commending the Lagos State Government’s role, the lawmaker added, “I deeply appreciate the cooperation of the Ministry and the commitment of the State Government. We’re on the same page when it comes to investing in the next generation.”
The lawmaker extended an invitation to Hon. Jamiu Alli-Balogun, the Lagos State Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, sought his presence at the formal commissioning of the recently completed schools in Epe Federal Constituency.
The official handover date is expected to be determined within the next month.
Commending the lawmaker’s initiative, Hon. Jamiu Alli-Balogun described the visit as both timely and strategic.
Alli-Balogun also underscored the necessity of providing adequate support services, such as staff offices, teaching materials, and security infrastructure, to complement the newly developed physical infrastructure.

The Ministry, he assured, is actively engaging with TESCOM, Education District III, and other key stakeholders to guarantee a seamless take-off for the new schools.
Confirming the receipt of correspondence from Rep. Raji, the Commissioner reiterated his dedication to seeing the schools open their doors to students as scheduled in September.
Recall that on April 24, 2025, Eko Hot Blog reported that the lawmaker commissioned twelve newly constructed and fully furnished classrooms at Anglican Primary School, Afuye, in Epe, Lagos State. In addition, a five-day Entrepreneurship Training and Empowerment Programme was held, during which 100 participants received certificates of participation along with a ₦100,000 grant each to support and grow their businesses.
