War tension heightened after Poland moved missile launchers to the Ukrainian border.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Poland has agreed to deploy additional Patriot missile launchers from Germany near its border with Ukraine, the eastern European nation’s defence minister has said.
The agreement comes after a missile blast on Polish soil last week which left the global leaders on a knife edge.

Mariusz Blaszczak said that he had “accepted [the proposal for further air defences] with satisfaction” from his German counterpart. He added: “During today’s telephone conversation with the German side, I will propose that the system be stationed at the border with Ukraine.”
Last Tuesday, Poland – a NATO member state – placed its military on high alert after a missile struck the village of Przewodow, around 4 miles from the border with Ukraine, killing two. Preliminary evidence suggested the missile was Russian-made, though the Kremlin denied firing it.
