We Hold Gov. Wike And Nnamdi Kanu Responsible For The Obigbo Killings- Ohanaeze Declares

- The leadership of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide says the group would hold the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Nyemson Wike, responsible for what it described as “Genocide and Cleansing ethnic group in Obigbo, Rivers State.
The group in a statement signed by its President General Ohanaeze and his Secretary General; Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro and Mazi Okwu Nnabuike said they will not watch or keep silent about the atrocities, gruesome killings and perpetual enslavement of Obigbo’s peace-loving Igbos by security forces.
The group that pledged to ensure that those responsible for the “Obigbo Genocide” face justice”.
Wike, as Rivers State Security Director, will surely explain the loss of life and brutalities in Obigbo in the near future as international human rights groups and activists.
“they are collecting information and evidence of an escalation of genocidal violence in the state of Obigbo Rivers. ”
OYC, which vehemently opposed strong military actions and attacks on people who had continuously abused the fundamental human rights of Obigbo residents, said denying people access to food, adequate Medicare and water, in an attempt to have the Rivers state government unleash the state machinery against the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is an indication of an insensitive government.
