EKO HOT BLOG reports that the horrific incident occurred late Monday night while Patricia was visiting a male acquaintance at his abandoned villa in the Lazio region, unaware he was not at home.
Her screams alerted neighbors to the brutal attack, and she was later found critically injured, lying in a pool of blood with deep bite wounds across her body. Emergency responders intervened after police shot two of the dogs to access the scene, causing the rest of the pack to flee.
Patricia was rushed to Santa Maria Goretti Hospital, where medics worked to save her.
Unfortunately, she succumbed to her severe injuries and blood loss.
A devoted mother to a five-year-old daughter, Patricia had recently relocated to the Lazio region from Nigeria, seeking a better life.
Her death has left her family and friends devastated, and local authorities have launched an investigation into how the starving dogs came to be in the area.
The incident has sparked public outrage and renewed calls for stricter measures to address the issue of stray animals and ensure public safety.
