President Bola Tinubu extended his warm wishes to former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on the occasion of his 68th birthday, Eko Hot Blog reports.
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu praised Osinbajo, a Professor of Law and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, for his collaboration with former President Muhammadu Buhari in delivering good governance and critical infrastructure projects during their tenure from 2015 to 2023.

“He served our country meritoriously as Vice President to that patriotic leader, President Muhammadu Buhari.

“He made all of us in the All Progressives Congress proud by working collaboratively and harmoniously with the president without rancour.”
Tinubu fondly recalled Osinbajo’s leadership prowess during his tenure as Acting President while former President Muhammadu Buhari was on medical leave in the UK.
In a heartfelt message, Tinubu referred to Osinbajo as a close ally, friend, and brother, highlighting their shared history and collaborative efforts in instituting political and judicial reforms during Tinubu’s governorship in Lagos State.
Tinubu also acknowledged Osinbajo’s pursuit of the APC presidential ticket in 2023 as an exercise of his democratic rights and freedoms.
