Bishop questioned why individuals feel the need to take on the role of “project supervisor” for God’s creation, suggesting that people are attempting to improve upon something that is already perfect. In a social media post, he urged individuals to appreciate and embrace their natural beauty, which he believes is a divine creation.
He emphasized the potential risks and moral implications of plastic surgery while recognizing personal choice.
“God created you perfectly, and you choose to act as the project supervisor for His work,” he stated. “God has completed His creation, and yet you take it upon yourself to make edits, like using a red pen to mark His work. You suggest adjustments to your eyes, waist, and body shape.
“Correcting God’s work can have consequences, whether you realize it or not.”
