Eko Hot Blog reports that that Oladipo Awe, the father of Olanrewaju Awe, was full of joy and happiness last Saturday as his son married his sweetheart, Olayemi Lawal, at a Nikkah ceremony.
The couple were joined in holy matrimony at Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, on Saturday, December 30, 2023.
The event, graced by families, friends, and esteemed Islamic clerics, who officiated the ceremony, began with an introduction of the officiating clerics. The groom’s father and the bride’s father led the couple through the aisle, marking the beginning of a sacred union.

“Today marks a significant chapter in our family’s story, and I am confident that Olayemi is the perfect companion for him. May their union be filled with love, understanding, and countless joyous moments.”
He also took a moment to express his gratitude to the attendees who honored both the traditional wedding ceremony on December 24, 2023, and the Nikkah ceremony.
“I extend my deepest appreciation to all our cherished friends, family members, and esteemed guests who joined us for the traditional wedding ceremony just a few days ago,” Mr Awe stated.
“Your presence added immense joy to the occasion, and today, as we gather once again for the Nikkah ceremony, I am truly touched by your continued support.
“Your presence here today is a testament to the love and warmth that surrounds Olanrewaju and Olayemi as they embark on this sacred journey of marriage. Thank you for sharing in our joy and making both ceremonies truly special.”
