As reported by Diario AS on Tuesday, Enzo, who most recently played for Fuenlabrada in Spain’s third division, has decided to step away from the sport to focus on personal pursuits, including his family and business ventures.

Renowned sports journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development, stating, “Zinedine Zidane’s son Enzo has retired from football at the age of 29, as reported by @diarioas.
“He last played for Fuenlabrada in the 3rd tier of Spanish football and he wants to focus on private stuff, including his investments. Enzo Zidane has retired from professional football at the age of 29, and will focus on his family and other investments.”
Enzo Zidane, the eldest of Zinedine Zidane’s four sons, has retired after a decade-long career that saw him make 203 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing 24 assists. His journey included spells at clubs like Real Madrid Castilla, Alavés, Lausanne, Rayo Majadahonda, Aves, Almería, and Rodez Aveyron, before finishing his career with Fuenlabrada, where he made 29 appearances.
His career highlight came during his one appearance for Real Madrid’s senior team, where he scored on his debut in a 6-1 Copa del Rey win against Cultural Leonesa.
Though Enzo has stepped away from football, his three brothers continue to play. Luca Zidane is the starting goalkeeper for Eibar, Theo Zidane plays midfield for Córdoba in Spain’s third division, and the youngest, Elyaz Zidane, recently joined Real Betis’ academy and represents France at the U-17 level.
