EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Kogi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lost a colossal member to the main opposition, as Chief Shola Adedoyin, a close ally of a bureaucrat, Prince Olusola Akanmode, joins the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

It was learnt that Chief Adedoyin subsequently declared his support for the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu/Senator Kashim Shettima candidacy in respect of the 2023 presidential election.
Upon his defection, he met James Faleke, the APC Presidential Campaign Council Secretary, in Abuja, the Nigerian capital city on Tuesday. Faleke is also an indigene of Kogi State but has been a Lagos lawmaker.
Adedoyin, a former Special Assistant to the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Idris Wada, expressed his total support for Tinubu, saying the movement is all out for victory in respect of 2023.
“It is time to move forward. It can only get better from here. It is Tinubu or nothing in 2023.
