PDP has fixed a date to hold its Presidential Campaign rally in Edo.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set to hold its presidential campaign rally on Saturday, October 22, in Benin, Edo State capital.
This online media platform recalls the major opposition party had launched its presidential campaign rally in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital two weeks ago, and also held another rally in Kaduna State last week.

In a statement Thursday, the Chairman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, said the rally would hold at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, by 10am.
Tambuwam charged all party leaders and supporters to make their way to the Edo state capital and join hands with the party’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and the Vice presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa to rescue Nigeria.
The statement read in part “This invite all elected PDP Governors, members of PDP National Working Committee, NASS Members, NEC members, BOT, members, state chapters, former governors, former Ministers, PDP candidates; and stakeholders to the EDO State presidential campaign rally as scheduled below:
“Date: Saturday 22nd October 2022, the venue is Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, Edo State and the time is 10:00AM prompt.
