This accounts for a remarkable 54% of the total non-import VAT pool, according to a report by Agora Policy.

The report highlighted a stark disparity in VAT contributions, as the remaining 33 states collectively contributed just 19% of the total revenue. Delta State led this group with ₦73.39 billion, while Imo State contributed the least, at ₦4.38 billion.
