The Member representing Epe Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Wale Raji, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Alhaji Ganiu Adio Akintola, the pioneer Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, describing his death as a great loss to Ejinrin, Epe Division, and Lagos State at large.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in his condolence message, Hon. Raji paid glowing tribute to the late Alhaji Akintola, whom he described as “a beloved father, impactful teacher, visionary leader, and committed community builder whose death is an irreparable loss to Ejinrin and the entire Epe Division.”

Reflecting on his personal relationship with the deceased, Hon. Raji said, “The late Alhaji Akintola was not just my biology teacher but a man of remarkable vision and humility whose selfless service to humanity and passion for community development left indelible marks in grassroots governance.”
Hon. Raji recounted the late Akintola’s outstanding public service record, noting his journey from a classroom teacher to Principal of Epe Grammar School, then to Permanent Secretary in the Lagos State Ministry of Education, and finally, as the pioneer Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
He described him as “a man whose immense contributions to the growth and transformation of Epe Division and Lagos State will forever be remembered as part of his enduring legacy of leadership, mentorship, and dedication to the common good.”

On behalf of the people of Epe Federal Constituency, Hon. Raji extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the people of Ejinrin community, and all residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
