According to a statement released by the NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, officers received credible intelligence about the nature of the event and discreetly positioned themselves inside the club from 11 p.m. on Saturday.
The party was reportedly disrupted at around 3 a.m., in line with the agency’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Over 100 individuals were arrested for screening, including Pretty Mike, identified as the owner of the establishment. NDLEA operatives confirmed that cartons of illicit substances were recovered from the club’s store and from party attendees. Items seized included Loud (a potent strain of cannabis) and canisters of nitrous oxide (laughing gas).
“The raid followed intelligence about the drug party. NDLEA operatives embedded in the event between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. disrupted the gathering in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures,” the agency stated.

The NDLEA said the raid was part of a wider nationwide crackdown on drug trafficking and distribution networks. While the agency has not yet confirmed if charges will be filed against Pretty Mike, he remains in custody pending further investigation.
The NDLEA Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd.), commended the officers involved and urged them to remain vigilant.
“We must maintain a balanced approach to drug control, one that combines enforcement with education and community engagement,” Marwa stated.
Meanwhile, the NDLEA also uncovered 70 parcels of cocaine concealed in cocoa butter body cream containers destined for London, United Kingdom, as part of its ongoing anti-narcotics operations.
According to Babafemi, the 3.6kg drug consignment was intercepted on October 14, 2025, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja, during routine cargo checks on an Air Peace flight.
A cargo agent, Lawal Mustapha Olakunle, who presented the shipment for export, was arrested. Further investigations led to the arrest of Ogunmuyide Taiwo Deborah, a healthcare worker, and Mutiu Adebayo Adebiyi, CEO of Mutiu Adebiyi & Co., a travel agency based in Ikeja GRA.
In another operation, NDLEA officers at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport (AIIA), Enugu, foiled an attempt by a 35-year-old Lesotho national, Lemena Mark, to smuggle 103.59 grammes of methamphetamine hidden in a diabeta herbs coffee tea pack on an Ethiopian Airlines flight to the Philippines on October 22.
Similarly, 21,950 capsules of Tramadol (250mg) were discovered concealed inside a 100-litre water heater following the arrest of Umar Abubakar (40) in Bode Saadu, Moro Local Government Area, Kwara State.
