A 25-year-old licensed vocational nurse has sparked debate online after opening up about her romance with a 76-year-old man, insisting their relationship is the healthiest and most passionate she’s ever experienced.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Diana Montano, from San Diego, met Edgar in July 2023 through a mutual friend he previously dated. Although she’d never been with an older man before, Diana says their chemistry was instant.

“I wasn’t looking for love,” she said. “But as soon as I laid eyes on him, there were sparks. Everything with him feels so natural. Our conversations flow, he treats me with respect, and he’s so full of life.”
After months of texting, the pair travelled to Hawaii, where they made their relationship official. Diana says Edgar, despite his age, is more energetic than many men her age and joins her in travelling every two months.
“He confessed he wishes he was younger so I’d marry him,” she revealed. “But I told him I’d marry him as he is now.”
Despite the wide age gap, Diana insists Edgar is her soulmate and gives her the freedom and emotional security many younger men don’t offer.
“It’s hard to find a younger man who isn’t toxic,” she said. “I love being with someone mature, patient, and understanding. I’m more myself around him.”
Diana admitted that introducing Edgar to her family didn’t go smoothly. Her parents weren’t thrilled, and her mother’s reaction was visibly uncomfortable. Still, Diana says their support grew once they saw she was happy.
“My friends were surprised at first,” she added. “But they love Edgar now.”
While some online have accused her of chasing money, Diana says her love for Edgar is genuine and that he’s actually fitter than many 50-year-olds.
