Nigerian singer Terry G, born Gabriel Oche Amanyi, has dismissed viral rumors of his death, clarifying that he is alive and well.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the “Akpako Master” addressed the speculation in a now-deleted Instagram video, speaking in Pidgin English to assure fans of his safety and urge people to stop spreading false news.

According to the artist, his phone had been overwhelmed with calls after misleading posts surfaced online announcing his supposed demise.
“My phone has been buzzing since morning. People dey call me say dem see R.I.P Terry G online. I beg, make una stop am. I dey very fine,” he said.
Terry G also took the opportunity to clarify his recent remarks on The Honest Bunch podcast, where he controversially stated that he “sings for the devil” and has “fallen short of God’s glory.”

Explaining his comment, the singer said he was referring to the secular nature of his music career, emphasizing that his success came from worldly influences rather than divine inspiration.
“Make I talk am again — yes, I talk say na the devil make me blow. Na, truth be that. My music na worldly,” he said.
