Represented by his deputy, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Sanwo-Olu said sustainable growth whether in governance or politics depends largely on credible data management and consistent evaluation.
“Whatever cannot be measured cannot be managed,” he said, urging the APC to establish a comprehensive and reliable membership database to improve internal communication, strengthen engagement, and enhance preparedness ahead of elections.
“As a political party, we must be able to measure our members. That’s the only way we can manage effectively. We need to know who our members are, where they are, and how they feel about governance. It shouldn’t only be during elections that we begin to scramble for information,” the governor added.

Sanwo-Olu also emphasised the importance of two-way communication between government and citizens, noting that accurate data collection would help the APC better understand members’ needs and gauge public perception.
Reiterating Lagos State’s commitment to transparency, efficient data management, and people-centered governance, he urged participants to strengthen the party’s digital infrastructure to sustain its record of electoral success.
The governor commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for implementing tough but necessary economic and petroleum sector reforms, adding that the policies are beginning to yield visible results.
He called on APC members to continue supporting and defending the administration’s reform agenda, assuring that the measures underway will deliver sustainable growth and long-term benefits for Nigerians.
