His mission was to build consensus and mobilise broad-based support for the coalition’s agenda.
During the engagements, El-Rufai criticised the APC government, describing it as “incompetent and exclusive,” warning that the party’s continued dominance could undermine Nigeria’s unity and development.
“I entered politics to serve the people, not for personal gain. When a government fails to serve its citizens, it is our responsibility to hold it accountable and push for change. This is a battle we must all join,” he stated.

The former governor explained that the coalition’s choice of the ADC platform was strategic, aiming to bring together progressive forces with a shared vision that prioritises national interest above individual ambitions.
He further warned that allowing the APC to continue unchecked risks the fabric of Nigeria’s society, calling the opposition’s campaign the fight of our lives.
El-Rufai pledged ongoing mobilisation efforts across the country to strengthen the coalition’s capacity to challenge the ruling party.
