Confirming his visit, Alli, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District, disclosed details of the meeting in a post on his verified Facebook page.
“I recently had the distinct honour of visiting His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), during this Easter season, a time of renewal, reflection, and hope,” he wrote.
He described the President as a leader committed to national development, adding, “Our conversation reaffirmed my confidence in his courage, clarity of purpose, and unwavering commitment to Nigeria.”
Alli further stated that Tinubu emphasised the importance of responsible leadership during their discussion.
“He reminded me that leadership is a sacred trust, one that must be exercised with strength, compassion, and a constant awareness that true success is measured by the lives we uplift,” he said.
The lawmaker added that the meeting left him inspired and optimistic about the country’s direction.
“I left the meeting inspired, re-energised, and quietly confident that, with unity and steadfast support, Nigeria is on a steady path toward lasting stability and shared prosperity,” he added.
