EKO HOT BLOG reports that this was revealed during the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja on Tuesday.
Speaking at the event, Ralph Nwosu, the party’s founder and pioneer National Chairman, attributed the ADC’s rising influence to its firm rejection of financial inducements intended to compromise its ideological stance or weaken its position as an opposition party.
Nwosu said the ADC’s refusal to be influenced by money politics has helped it earn public trust and attract credible politicians committed to reform.
“Our integrity has set us apart,” Nwosu said. “Today, the ADC has 28 senators, over 46 members in the House of Representatives, and more than 50 lawmakers in various state assemblies. We have over 100 elected officials, and the numbers are still growing.”
He added that the ADC’s online registration portal has seen increased traffic, with more young Nigerians joining the party due to its transparency and alternative voice to dominant political structures.
Nwosu emphasized that the party’s resistance to the idea of a one-party state has contributed to its growing popularity among Nigerians who are disillusioned with the current political landscape.
He said the ADC remains committed to expanding its base nationwide while maintaining ethical standards that reflect the aspirations of Nigerians for genuine democratic representation.

The development positions the ADC as a significant opposition force, with the potential to play a greater role in shaping Nigeria’s political future ahead of the 2027 general elections.
