• He was a retired captain of the Nigerian Army.

• He died on Saturday while receiving treatment at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Alhaji Rasheed Adeniyi Mofolorunso Akangbe Adesokan, Baale of Bodija is dead.

It was gathered that the retired captain died on Saturday while receiving treatment at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan according to sources.

Until his death, Adesokan was the Baale of Bodija in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital
Details of his burial have not been announced by the family.

A source close to the deceased’s family, in a short statement made available to journalists, said, “Inalillah waina ilaehi rojiun.
“Baale Rasheed Adesokan, Balogun Mumini of Yorubaland, died today 3rd of Ramadan at UCH.
