Queens College: Nigerians React As Parent Engage School Guard In A Fight
A mother of a Queen’s College student was spotted in a viral video fighting the security guards of her daughter’s school.
According to reports, the student wore make up and faux lashes and was denied entry to the school, an action her mother stood against.
Ekohotblog captured some twitter reactions, see below.
Gross indiscipline from a parent, what can such a child bring to table if not misconducts squared?
The best the school can do in honour of the staff beaten is to expel the child from the school with immediate effect.
Misplaced priority with African parents.

Some women can just behave stubborn sha. Ur child did what was against the rule and you are fighting on her behalf. If I were that security I will make sure I nearly tear that woman cloth for holding my cloth. You can't hold my cloth because u are woman and think I won't hit back

What kind of parents do we have in this generation? Your daughter fixed eye lashes and painted her nails as against school policy and the mother had to physically fight the school authority for refusing her child entry.
This is bad parenting IMO.

Very simple, both the mother and her daughter should be charged for assault and recklessness. Oga, I would love if its push to that extent.

However, the Queens College Old Girls Association has reacted to the incident and urged the public to stop the further spread of the video to avoid tainting the image of the school.
“Several views have been expressed on the actions in the video and the manner of handling. We are currently engaging the school authorities and will revert once we have a clear action plan agreed on”.
“In the meantime, in whatever forum this video is being discussed, please communicate that that QCOGA EXCO is handling the matter and the video should no longer be shared to stem what is obviously a negative publicity for QC”.
