‘A Pillar Of Charity, Peace’ – Tinubu Mourns Sheikh Muyideen Bello
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed profound sorrow over the death of esteemed Islamic cleric, Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello, whose passing at the age of 84 was announced on Friday by Alfa Aribidesi of At-Tawdeeh Islamic Da’awah.
In a statement issued by the presidency, Tinubu paid tribute to Sheikh Bello’s lifetime devotion to serving Allah and humanity.

“Sheikh Bello’s early discovery of divine purpose and commitment to prayer, study, and meditation shaped his profound message and inspired countless Muslims,” Tinubu remarked.
The President also commended Sheikh Bello’s enduring advocacy for charity, peace, and civil order, as well as his firm counsel to leaders on the values of trust, honesty, and fairness as essential principles of good governance.
Extending his condolences to the Muslim Ummah and the cleric’s family, Tinubu prayed for Almighty Allah to accept the soul of the departed scholar and grant solace to those mourning his loss. The President called for the emulation of Sheikh Bello’s enduring legacies of faith, wisdom, and service.
