Christopher Onuorah, a well-loved Maths and Science teacher at Staughton College in Melton, Victoria, has sadly passed away in a tragic drowning accident. His death has left many in deep sorrow, especially his family, friends, students, and colleagues.

Mr. Onuorah, originally from Nigeria, lost his life on Friday, January 3, 2025. The tragedy occurred at Tyrone Beach in Rye, a popular spot on the Mornington Peninsula, about 100 kilometers south of Melbourne’s Central Business District.

He was found floating in the water by a jet ski rider who quickly called for help. Emergency services arrived at the scene around 5:30 pm, but sadly, Mr. Onuorah could not be saved.
