Georginio Rutter scored twice in the first half as Brighton cruised to a dominant victory over Championship side Norwich, securing their place in the FA Cup fourth round.
Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler fielded a strong lineup, determined to end the Seagulls’ winless streak of eight matches.
After an early spell of pressure from Norwich, Brighton showcased their Premier League quality in the 37th minute. Joel Veltman delivered a precise cross, which Rutter expertly headed home unchallenged.

Just before halftime, Rutter struck again, this time assisted by Yankuba Minteh. A slight deflection on Rutter’s shot sent the ball soaring into the top corner, leaving the play-off hopefuls deflated.
Brighton extended their lead in the second half when Julio Enciso dispossessed substitute Brad Hills and calmly finished off the far post.
Solly March added a stunning fourth in the 76th minute, curling a left-footed strike into the far corner as he continued his return from an ACL injury.

Norwich, missing Championship top scorer Borja Sainz due to the first of his six-game suspension for spitting, struggled to create significant chances.
