Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly close to signing a new deal with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, worth an incredible €3.8 million per week, according to reports.

After re-joining Manchester United in 2021, Ronaldo had a successful first season, scoring 24 goals.

However, his second spell at the club was overshadowed by tension, especially with manager Erik ten Hag.

The situation escalated in November 2022 when Ronaldo’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan criticized the club, its ownership, and his manager.

Following the fallout, the two sides mutually agreed to part ways, and Ronaldo signed a highly lucrative contract with Al Nassr, becoming one of the world’s highest-paid players.

Now, reports from Saudi media outlet Al Khabar (via AS) indicate that the 39-year-old forward, who turns 40 in February, is on the brink of extending his contract with Al Nassr for another season.

The new deal, reportedly worth €200 million, will see Ronaldo earn €3.8 million per week, with €200 million as base salary and an additional €60 million from image rights, ensuring his position as the highest-paid footballer in the world.
