EKO HOT BLOG has learned that the Nigerian military has deployed special forces and elite troops in a renewed offensive against Turji and his fighters. The assault is focused on key strongholds, including the notorious Fakai enclave within Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, long known as a safe haven for Turji and his associates.

According to PR Nigeria, the military action is supported by proactive intelligence-sharing and early warning systems, allowing for the evacuation of civilians from high-risk areas and minimizing collateral damage.
Recent airstrikes by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) have decimated the bandits’ hideouts, killing numerous high-ranking commanders and fighters, but Turji himself is still on the run.
Elite troops from Operation Hadarin Daji and the special forces of Operation Fansan Yamma have positioned themselves along critical escape routes near Badarawa, Chida, and Fakai, anticipating Turji’s movements.
