According to a statement by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, the Chief of Staff said President Tinubu is deeply concerned about the incident and has directed security agencies to deploy all necessary resources towards rescuing the victims.
“Mr. President is deeply troubled by this incident. Whatever it takes, our children and teachers will be brought back home safely,” Gbajabiamila stated.
He acknowledged the pain and anxiety being experienced by parents and affected communities, assuring them that government authorities fully understand their concerns.
“Your pain and anxiety are understood. By the grace of God, your children will return safely to your arms,” he added.
Gbajabiamila also revealed that the President had taken note of appeals from parents and community leaders urging caution in the rescue operation.

According to him, the operation would be carefully coordinated and intelligence driven, combining both kinetic and non kinetic approaches to ensure the victims are rescued without unnecessary risk.
The visit comes amid growing national concern over the abduction, which involved dozens of pupils and teachers and has attracted widespread attention across the country.
As part of efforts to strengthen security, President Tinubu has reportedly approved the recruitment of 1,000 forest guards to improve surveillance and security operations in vulnerable areas.
The presidential delegation included Nuhu Ribadu, Christopher Musa, Inspector General of Police Olatunji Disu, Joseph Tegbe, and Sunday Dare.
The Federal Government says security agencies remain fully engaged in efforts to rescue the abducted pupils and teachers and bring those responsible to justice.
