EKO HOT BLOG reports that Justice Alexander Owoeye last week, issued a bench warrant for Onyedikachukwu following an ex parte application filed by the EFCC. However, during a court session on Friday, EFCC counsel Bilikisu Buhari requested the warrant’s withdrawal.

Previously, the Federal High Court in Lagos granted the EFCC’s motion for Onyedikachukwu’s arrest to ensure his court appearance over alleged financial misconduct.
The motion, presented under Section 35(1)(c) of the 1999 Constitution and Sections 35 to 39 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015, was approved by Justice Owoeye, who set January 24 for the manager’s arraignment.

The case stems from a petition filed by Mercy Chinwo with the EFCC.
According to an affidavit submitted by EFCC investigator Michael Idoko, Chinwo accused Onyedikachukwu of withholding royalties from her digital platforms and events.
She also alleged the manager diverted $345,000 meant for her, prompting her to seek legal intervention.
