Job Summary
The Agriculture and Food Distribution Company seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join its technical team. The role involves overseeing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical systems essential for poultry production operations. Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair:
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on farm equipment such as feeders, water systems, HVAC systems, and generators.
- Minimize downtime and operational costs by ensuring efficient mechanical systems.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules to enhance equipment lifespan and prevent unexpected failures.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
- Quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical issues using systematic approaches.
- Provide technical support to the production team during operations.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and operational standards.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in agriculture or food production.
- Proficiency in HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in industrial settings.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with poultry or livestock operations and familiarity with agricultural equipment maintenance.
Salary Range:
₦200,000 – ₦300,000 monthly.
