- Enoch Ganogbe develops hypertension after his daughter and granddaughter went missing in 2015.
- No progress in the case as the family still searches for answers.
- Abigail’s husband describes the disappearance as a devastating loss.
Enoch Ganogbe, a bricklayer, has developed hypertension following the mysterious disappearance of his daughter, Abigail Ganogbe, and granddaughter, Yenukunme Ajovi, in January 2015.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that Enoch, who lives in the Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos State, expressed deep concern as he struggles to cope with the uncertainty surrounding their disappearance. The cause of their vanishing, whether abduction or voluntary disappearance, remains unclear.

Speaking to Sunday PUNCH, Enoch revealed that the emotional strain has taken a severe toll on his health, leading to his diagnosis of hypertension. He shared his fears: “Sometimes, I worry about how much this is affecting my health. I just pray it doesn’t end up taking my life.”

He described Abigail as a devoted daughter who had been his main source of support. “She helped me in so many ways. She’s a really good person and always there for me. I haven’t felt any joy or peace since she went missing. I’ve searched everywhere and asked everyone, but there’s been no lead. At this point, I can only leave it in God’s hands,” Enoch added.
Before their disappearance, Abigail had had a disagreement with her husband, but Enoch said they helped resolve the conflict. However, after Abigail’s husband, Noah Ajovi, reported her missing to the police, no progress was made in the case.
Noah Ajovi, describing the disappearance as a devastating loss, explained, “I spent 10 years with her before we got married in 2011. She disappeared with our only daughter. If I see my daughter, I’ll be happy that what I spent 10 years of my life on still exists.”

Noah further explained that Abigail had a habit of leaving the house when they had disagreements, but she had not returned since January 2015. He also confirmed that he reported the case to the police, but the uncertainty over whether they were kidnapped has yet to be resolved.
Efforts to reach Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, for comment were unsuccessful.
