Operatives of the Ogun State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun Corps, arrested a man named Ramoni Segun on Tuesday after his girlfriend, Adijat, was found dead in his house.

According to reports, Adijat had spent the night at Segun’s residence in Odoraboyejo Ojowo, Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State. Before her death, she reportedly complained of severe stomach pain. However, by Tuesday morning, she was found unresponsive and later confirmed dead.
Segun explained to security officials that Adijat had been in discomfort throughout the night due to stomach pain, and he believed that was what caused her unfortunate death.
Following his arrest, Segun was handed over to the Ijebu Igbo police division for further investigation to determine the exact cause of Adijat’s death and whether there was any foul play involved.
The deputy commander of Amotekun urged members of the public who may have any useful information about the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation.
