The Lagos State Government has urged facility management organizations responsible for government-owned housing estates to adopt innovative and proactive approaches in managing equipment and facilities.

During the workshop, Akinderu-Fatai encouraged participants to familiarize themselves with the guidelines and standards established for state housing estates.
By doing so, facility managers can enhance their skills and knowledge in proactive management and maintenance, ultimately preventing the degeneration of facilities and surrounding environments.
Permanent Secretary, Engr. Abdulhafis Toriola, further highlighted the significance of the training in improving facility managers’ maintenance skills and customer satisfaction.

He underscored the primary responsibility of facility managers to ensure estates remain clean, hygienic, and environmentally friendly year-round.
