Confirming the development to journalists on Monday, the command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that the suspect committed the offence at about 8:00 p.m. on Friday in Ijedodo, Isheri-Osun.
“A neighbor said he saw the man beating his girlfriend in his room for a reason yet unknown. A few minutes later, the suspect screamed for help.
“Upon reaching the suspect’s apartment, he found the girlfriend lying unconscious with visible marks on her body.
