British pop sensation Charli XCX has been named Songwriter of the Year at the Brit Awards, marking her first-ever win at the prestigious event. This early recognition sets the stage for a potentially dominant night at Saturday’s ceremony, where she leads with five nominations.
Her critically acclaimed album Brat has propelled her to new commercial heights, earning nods for Best Artist, Album of the Year, Best Dance Act, Best Pop Artist, and Song of the Year for her Billie Eilish duet Guess.
