As Muslims worldwide commence the sacred month of Ramadan 1446 AH, Hon. Seriki Ahmed Ayinde, Commissioner II of the Local Government Service Commission, Epe Division, has extended warm wishes to the Muslim community, emphasizing the significance of the holy month as a time for spiritual renewal, faith, and devotion.
Ekohotblog reports that in his Ramadan message, Hon. Seriki encouraged Muslims to use the period to strengthen their connection with Allah and deepen their commitment to acts of kindness and righteousness.
“Ramadan is a blessed opportunity for us to rekindle our faith, rejuvenate our spirits, and renew our dedication to serving Allah and humanity,” he stated.
“May our fasting, prayers, and good deeds be accepted, and may this month bring us closer to Allah.”
The commissioner also highlighted the importance of resilience, sincerity, and self-reflection during the fasting period, urging Muslims to embody the core values of patience, compassion, and generosity.
“May Allah grant us the strength, wisdom, and resilience to observe this fasting period with sincerity and righteousness.
Let us use this time to promote love and kindness, ensuring our communities are filled with peace and harmony,” he added.
Hon. Seriki further encouraged Muslims to reflect on their values and strive for self-improvement, stating that Ramadan serves as a catalyst for positive change in individuals and society.
