During a condolence visit to the Adebanjo family on March 2, Atiku commended Pa Adebanjo’s steadfast dedication to national unity, referring to his passing as a profound loss for the country.

He highlighted the late leader’s role as a mentor and advisor and emphasized that Adebanjo’s legacy would be preserved by those who revered him.

A wake keeping service is scheduled for Friday, May 2, 2025, at Pa Adebanjo’s country home in Isanya Ogbo, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
The final burial service will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in his hometown of Ijebu Ode.
Several dignitaries, including former President Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate Peter Obi, have joined the nation in paying their respects to the late elder statesman
