The Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF) has announced the launch of its 2025 Annual National Food Intervention Project, an initiative valued at N16 billion aimed at providing essential food assistance to over one million Nigerians across the country.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the project, which began in Kano State, will see the distribution of 10kg bags of rice to vulnerable individuals and families in all 774 local government areas.

During the launch ceremony, ADF Chairman Aliko Dangote emphasized the importance of the project in addressing the current economic challenges facing Nigeria, as well as the foundation’s commitment to compassion, solidarity, and shared responsibility.
